From I-90 / I-94 / I-55 |
Notice: Use only this route to access the
parking facility.
Take I-90 / I-94 to I-55 North (Stevenson
Expressway / Lakeshore Drive) and watch for
the large overhead signage (No Trucks / All
Trucks).
Follow the 'All Trucks' route onto US-41
South
Stay right on the 31st Street ramp and watch
for a 180 degree right turn onto the
marshalling yard service drive then take a
left into the marshalling yard. |

There will be an attendant that will take
your money ($16 per day for a semi-truck)
and instruct you to park. |

Special Instructions |
This is a large yard that holds
approximately 500 large vehicles. You will
have access to a driver's lounge.
There is a vending area and there are also
catering trucks that come by.
Taxi service is available.
Price is $38 for a 24 hour period. |

If you are planning to overnight in Chicago
and want to use this parking facility,
better call ahead. If the city has an event,
such as a Bears game, they will sell this
lot out for parking and shuttles.
On a more personal note; I spend a lot of
time in Chicago and it seems that there is
always something going on in Grant Park
(between Michigan Avenue and the lake. It
might be wise to call ahead to 312-818-3161
and check for availability.
