From I-805, CA-163, I-8 east of San Diego
and I-5... |

Take I-805 south to CA-163 south.
Follow 163 to I-5 junction and follow the
I-5 North split.
At the I-5 North split, follow signs to 4th
Avenue.
Exit 4th and turn left (south).
Turn right onto B Street.
Look for the venue marquee ahead then turn
left on 3rd Avenue.
Stage door at corner of 3rd Avenue and C
Street by the trolley tracks.
Easy exit from city:
From the docks, turn right onto 3rd Avenue
for 1 block.
Turn left onto Broadway for 8 blocks.
Turn left onto 11th Avenue and go straight
onto CA-163 North. |

Although some pre-programmed GPS units have
bad data for this venue. it's still pretty
easy to find. The loading docks are located
on 3rd Avenue between B and C Streets.
Also note that this section of C Street
(between 2nd and 5th Avenues is restricted
to any vehicle traffic). |

Truck access is a challenge with the trolley
running. Use a spotter, and the venue person
will hold traffic.
Bus parking is both curbside and in a pay
lot adjacent to the venue. Promoter should
make arrangements.
If no event at the sports arena, you are
welcome there. Shopping and restaurants
abound. Ralph's grocery, Target and Home
Depot are across the street.
There are lot's of street people wandering
around Civic Center. |
